ANYTIME, ANYWHERE... TINYTWITTER

To start the new year in a 2.0 style I have decided today to install Tinytwitter on my Blackberry.

If you are a bit retarded like my mum let me first explain you briefly what Twitter is...  , founded by Jack Dorsey, Biz Stone, and Evan Williams and launched in July 2006, is a social networking service that allows users (you?) to post their (your) latest updates (tweets). It's called micro-blogging. An update is limited by 140 characters and can be posted through three methods: web form, text message, or instant message. You choose the tweets you want to follow and people will start requesting to follow your updates. Makes more sense when you actually use it!

So far I have been only using the web... Thanks to the Tinytwitter application I am now able to post my updates directly from my blackberry FOR FREE! Tinytwitter is available for free from Tinytwitter.com for all Java enabled devices and it is very easy to set up. If you are becoming a big twitter fan like myself, it's definitely one to check out!

If you finally decide to create an account on Twitter you can follow my tweets on twitter.com/melaniecrete The latest tweets I am following include Barack Obama, NY Times Style, ElleUK, Tate Modern and my friend Quentin.
